Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

Concordia Lutheran College continues to monitor the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and would like to reassure parents and guardians that the health and wellbeing of our students, staff, families and community members is our number one priority. At this point in time, no schools in Queensland have been directed to close.

​We are continuing to monitor the current COVID-19 situation and we are guided by the advice given by the experts and authorities including Queensland Health, State and Commonwealth Governments, Independent Schools Queensland and Lutheran Education Queensland.

College Communications

Concordia Lutheran College will use the following communication channels to update parents regarding novel Coronavirus (COVID-19):

Kindergarten

Community kindergarten services

Community kindergarten services will commence student free days from Monday 30 March till the end of Term 1 on Friday 3 April.

Teachers will be in attendance for children of essential workers and for children experiencing vulnerability during these student free days only.  

Long day care services delivering approved kindergarten programs

Kindergarten programs delivered in long day care services are to continue operating as per usual, unless the service is directed to close by Queensland Health or based on a decision by the approved provider. 

Outside School Hours Care

Before and after school care will continue as normal from Monday 30 March until Friday 3 April, unless the service is directed to close by Queensland Health or based on a decision by the approved provider.

The Term 1 break will continue as scheduled from 6 April until Friday 17 April. Vacation care will also operate as normal unless the service is directed to close by Queensland Health or based on a decision by the approved provider.
